ASM Deck TRack

Paperwork by Colton Wolf

ASM SUb-IN Information

Thursday, September 25th: Company reached out to see if I was available to sub in the ASM deck track for a performance of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors.

Tuesday, September 30th: I attended the evening tech session to watch a dress run of a performance from the audience, and familiarize myself with the story and take any notes.

Wednesday, October 1st: I attended the afternoon tech session and evening Preview Performance to shadow the ASM and watch how the track plays out backstage. I took necessary notes and asked questions during this time.

Thursday, October 2nd: I attended the afternoon tech session once again to shadow the ASM and ask any last minute questions. Then, I attended the evening Preview Performance and ran the track with the ASM present. This way, if anything went wrong, the ASM could correct me in real time.

Friday, October 3rd: I attended the Opening Night Performance to shadow the ASM once more to make sure I have the track down and not feel shaky in any areas.

Saturday, October 4th: This was the performance I was subbed in for. I acted as the ASM on this day and ran the backstage track as planned.
